PP is not present and they shouldn't be mixed with other kind of bumps on the foreskin, around the urethral opening, shaft of the penis or scrotum. Definition of Pearly Penile Papules:

What is Penile Papules?

Penile papules are tiny dome-shaped, shiny, red or skin-colored lumps that is mainly located on the corona of the glans penis or on the foreskin (prepuce). Most of the time these penis papules are arranged concentrically in few rows under the penis glands. The good new is that PP cannot be spread through sexual activity, therefore it is not considered as a sexually transmitted disease. You can view some PPP pictures in here.
Some inexperienced specialists diagnose it as genital warts or other STD. The reason and the mechanisms underlying their development still remains unknown by many medical scientists. This skin condition was reported all over the world including the United States, UK, Europe, Canada, no geographic variation in prevalence has been noted for PP papules and they can be found only in men.
The occurrence of these bumps were observed more often in uncircumcised males, between 14-44 years of age. Typically these lesions persist throughout life time, slowly they may become less noticeable with increased age. Most males with penile PPP, consult their dermatologists as soon as possible because they are concerned with their condition or they are worried about the appearance of their penis head. These lesions may cause some uneasy feelings to some guys until their harmless nature is clarified to them. Many guys try to contact cosmetic specialists about this matter. It is not very easy to find a doctor who will perform this procedure, most of the time they will actually encourage you not to treat/remove them. Many guys also try different home remedies like applying toothpaste and different kinds of creams to get rid of them, most of the time with not much success. Soon they will find out unfortunately that these bumps will not shrink or disappear that easy. Similar links about penile papules treament and images: Pearly Penile Papules.com
